Join other leaders of fast-growing companies from across the nation and Inc. staff in a day of giving back to the greater community. Inc. will host an entrepreneur mentoring fair where conference attendees are welcome to participate as mentors for the day, providing insights and experience to servicemen and women about how they built successful businesses. Service personnel — both active and veterans — as well as military spouses will attend this session to ask questions about building a business or even just getting started.

This is an exciting opportunity for Inc. and Inc. 5000 CEOs to give back to the military community that has given so much for us. Inc. is thrilled to be sponsoring this program but it cannot be a success without your participation. We truly hope you considering volunteering you time for this cause.

If you choose to be a volunteer mentor, you will be expected to participate in the lunch to do the following:

  • Provide insight on how you started your company as well as the successes/challenges you faced
  • Listen to them discuss their current business model or business plan, providing insight on possible pitfalls they may not see coming (i.e., finances, supply chain, staffing, etc.)
  • Work and talk with them in an effort to have them leave with specific action items to pursue, further research, or implement for their businesses
